Pain in the entire body
Schizonepeta and Ledebouriella Tablet to Overcome Pathogenic Toxin. This formula dispels the External Wind, eliminates the Cold and relieves the pain; however it has a limited effect on harmonising the collaterals and promoting the channels so as to relieve the pain, therefore Xi Xian Cao Herba Siegesbeckiae 5g and Xi Xin Herba Asari 2g, etc., could be applied.
Ephedra Decoction. This formula is indicated in severe invasion of Wind-Cold with lack of sweating. Ge Gen Radix Puerariae 5g, Qiang Huo Rhizoma seu Radix Notopterygii 5g, Du Huo Radix Angelicae Pubescentis 3g, Chuan Xiong Radix Ligustici Wallichii 5g and Xi Xin Herba Asari 2g should be added into the prescription to promote the sweating and relieve the pain.
Cinnamon Twig Decoction. This formula is indicated in slight invasion of Wind-Cold with slight sweating. The same modifications as above should be carried out.
Jing Fang Bai Du Pian Schizonepeta and Ledebouriella Tablets to Overcome Pathogenic Toxin.
LI-4 Hegu, TE-5 Waiguan, LU-7 Lieque, BL-40 Weizhong, BL-60 Kunlun and ST-36 Zusanli. Reducing method is applied for these points. Moxibustion is applied on the first three points.
▪ The first three points are used to promote the sweating, dispel the External Wind-Cold and relieve the External symptoms
▪ BL-40 and BL-60 regulate the Bladder channel, promote the sweating and relieve mainly the back pain
▪ ST-36 tonifies the Defensive Qi, eliminates the Phlegm and strengthens the body
▪ Moxibustion warms the body and dispels the Cold.
Entire body pain with a hot sensation, restlessness, fever, an aversion to cold, thirst, throat pain and swelling, a red tongue, thin and yellow coating, and a superficial and rapid pulse are symptoms and signs of this condition.
Dispel the Wind, clear the Heat and relieve the pain.
Mulberry Leaf and Chrysanthemum Decoction. This formula dispels the Wind, clears the Heat and stops the cough, and is indicated in pain in the general body due to invasion of Wind-Heat to the Lung.
Honeysuckle and Forsythia Powder. This formula, which dispels the Wind, clears the Heat, removes the Toxin and relieves the pain, is indicated in the pain in the general body due to invasion of Toxic Wind-Heat. Usually there is a swollen throat, high fever, severe headache and much thirst, etc.
White Tiger Decoction. This formula clears the Heat, reduces the fever, stops the cough and relieves the pain, and is indicated in the pain in the general body due to accumulation of Heat in the Lung.
Gan Lu Xiao Du Dan Sweet Dew Special Pill to Eliminate Toxin.
LI-4 Hegu, LI-11 Quchi, LU-7 Lieque, LU-9 Yuji, TE-5 Waiguan and GB-34 Yanglingquan. Reducing method is used on these points.
▪ LI-4, LI-11, LU-7, LU-9 and TE-9 are used to dispel Wind, clear the Heat and relieve the External symptoms
▪ GB-34, the Sea point of the Gallbladder channel and the Gathering point for the Tendons, regulates the Qi circulation and relieve the body pain.
